The British aviation drama, Angel Fleet will continue its stellar run of awards and film festival accolades next week at Hollywood’s New Media Film Festival, after being selected for screening both online and in person at the prestigious two-day event.

Now in its 15th year, the LA festival honors stories worth telling from a wide variety of creators across 28 different categories including film shorts, music videos and web series. Judges hail from the likes of Marvel, PBS, HBO, BBC, Rolling Stone, the Television Academy and more.

Filmed on location around West Sussex in the UK, Angel Fleet tells the story of a lost aviator and the grief felt by his family. It features Europe’s last airworthy ‘Flying Fortress’ B-17 bomber, and recently received the “Best Score - Short Film” award at LA’s Golden State Film Festival.

Angel Fleet was produced and directed by the award-winning Sussex production company, Fact Not Fiction Films and directed by Tristan Loraine. American actor and producer Herb Jackson Jr. is the Executive Producer, while the cast includes Darcey Jacobs, Millie Lewis, Jessica Hilliard and Shaun Morton.

Herb Jackson Jr. commented, “It was incredible to receive the news that Angel Fleet has been accepted at the New Media Film Festival. Having our film included at such a high-profile event is phenomenal. We’re looking forward to seeing how audiences respond. I’m extremely appreciative of the opportunity to be showcased in such a large media event.”
